LuFilms, established in 2007 and based in France, produces innovative documentaries with international potential in association with European and international broadcasters.

The films take on important and relevant contemporary issues. They are directed by filmmakers, both established and new, who all share a passion for innovative work. They come from various parts of the world and reach diverse audiences. In the past few years LuFilms has chosen to give more voice to women, in its selection of characters as well as directors.

Films such as Before Father gets back, by Mari Gulbiani. Margaret Garner by Mustapha Hasnaoui, offer an original outlook on our world.

LuFilms also produces documentaries about the arts, such as Ciné Venezia by Vilma Labate, David Bailey, four beats to the bar and no cheating by Jérôme de Missolz or Charlotte Salomon by Franz Weisz.

LuFilms also plans to pursue an exploration of various formats for new media and is developing projects for the web.
