Synopsis

From Mary Shelley, Jay Mcinerney, De Quincey, Berlioz, Cocteau, Burroughs, Philippe K. Dick and Lou Reed, many artists, writers and poets have captured some of the wonder of « artificial paradises » in their work.
The documentary, « Art, Drugs & Fantasy » presents an innovative view of the rapport between drugs and creativity over two centuries, using rarely seen archives.
